Samples Of 10 Dead Poultry Birds From Gujarat Test Positive For Avian Flu

Samples of 10 useless poultry birds from Dolasa village in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district have examined optimistic for avian influenza, officers stated on Saturday.

Earlier, samples of some wild birds had examined optimistic for the flu in few districts of the state.

“Ten samples of poultry birds (rooster) examined optimistic for avian influenza, following which 220 birds in three yard farms within the village have been culled,” deputy director of animal husbandry at Gir Somnath, D M Parmar, stated.

The district collector issued a notification limiting actions in a single km radius of the location from the place the carcasses of contaminated birds have been recovered.
